The weekend BEFORE Halloween!

The weekend before Halloween was a pretty busy one. Friday we didn't do much as I had to work on Saturday. After work Saturday we all headed my moms to carve pumpkins and have dinner.

Then on Sunday before Sandy decided to grace us with her presence my best friend Ashley and I went with the boys four wheeling.

 

 

 

Then sandy came and last week besides trick or treating we didn't do anything but lay around. Zach was working nights so I didn't really see him.

 

 

 



Hurrican Sandy

Well all I have to say is that I am glad that it is over. This storm actually scared me. We are safe and so is the rest of my family that is here and in New Jersey. There are a lot of people without power. We were lucky and didn't loose ours; it flickered a couple of times but never stayed off. Our ceiling leaked most of last night which is just an inconvenience but if that is all that happened I will take it. There were alot of people who lost electricity and couldn't keep up with their sump pumps so the basements flooded.  Everything seems to be slowing down we are still getting rain but it is nothing unusual. 

 

Ocean city got hit pretty hard. The fishing pier was destroyed as well as flooding pretty much everywhere.

 

 

 

 

There are power lines down around the area that we live. BGE has done well and has restored 113,872 out of 184,798 that lost it in the baltimore area. Zach will be going out tonight for storm duty around 7 so it will be lonely tonight but hopefully it will only be a night or two before they can get everything back up.

 

and the inner harbor is flooded. No one except emergency personnel were allowed on the city roads from last evening around 6 until noon today.

 

 

Things could have been much worse and I am just glad that we're safe. I am praying for everyone who had to encounter this nasty beeotch Sandy!

Friday Letters

Dear Friday, I am so glad that you are here! I have missed you and been looking forward to oh since say last Friday!

Dear Zach, You know that I love you but I would appreciate it when I place an order on Kohls with the credit card that when they call to verify the amount and order that you don't tell them that you never placed the order and to cancel it.

Dear tomorrow, I can't wait to get together with the family and nieces and carve pumpkins and drink pumpkin pie vodka and eat pumpkin desserts.

Dear weather, I would love it if this hurricane and Arctic storm that you plan to send to Baltimore would just skip right over us. I don't do well with no electricity and my boyfriend working storm duty. ( I am desperate here)

Dear Christmas, I can't wait for you to come. I am half way done my shopping so I can't wait to decorate and cut down  a tree and wrap presents.

Late weekend wrap up!

I have been in the worst mood lately and I don't know why. I am trying to get myself out of this funk but it is taking way longer then I would like.

 

Last weekend was a busy one.

Friday I had a 31 bags party with all my girls while the guys had a bonfire.

 

Saturday Zach and I headed to the pumpkin farm with my sister and her family, my mom, aunt, step dad, and my cousin and her kids.

It was lot of fun and actually felt like fall. We were there for about four hours doing activities for the kids and did a night corn maze that took us about 45 minutes to get out of. They had a petting zoo,slides, pedal karts,little kid mazes, and then took a hay ride to get pumpkins.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then on Sunday I watched the Raven's play a pretty shitty game but still a win so I will take it! I studied the rest of the night. Last night after school Zach and I watched Son's of anarchy from last week and I am now currently watching Grey's from last week! I can't wait to watch Nashville tomorrow night I hope it is as good as I am expecting.

She's Country!

Since school has started I feel like life has been super busy.I haven't even recapped labor day weekend so that is where we will start.

Labor day weekend Zach and I headed to the beach. We left thursday after I got out of school and then came home on Monday. I haven't actually layed on a beach in three years so it was way over due and much needed. My best friend Ashely and her boyfriend Kyle came down on Friday. The only pictures I took were one night we went out.

 

 

 

And for whatever reason my best friend wanted a picture of us jumping on the bed and this is what she got. ( I was trying not to hit my head on the ceiling).

We went to the outlets one day and I have officially started christmas shopping. Like to the point where I am almost done my nieces, have my sister started and Zach started.

 

Work has been very busy so besides school we have been doing nothing on the week days.

The wekend of the 7th we went to see Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean!

Best concert I have been to all summer!

 

 

 

Luke Bryan was an amazing opener and his dance moves I'd let him use them on me anytime he wanted!

 

 

 

 

And then Jason Aldean was just as good as I had hoped. He did a show earlier this summer by us and everyone said he was terrible he just stood there didn't really like dance or move around from side to side of the stage well come to find out I know people who work behind the stage and they said he was wasted! So I was just hoping he wasn't at our concert.

 

 

 

 

Well that is all I have to catch up on! Going to enjoy this fall weather with my windows open and snuggling on the couch.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



Life lately!

Once again I have been MIA the end of the summer flew by we were super busy!

I am not sure how I feel yet about summer being over. I was so excited about fall clothes,baking everything pumpkin, and the holidays but I will also miss the lazy summer days the pool and the beach. ah I guess I will make it work!

Since I have been gone all of this has happened!

I finally got to meet baby Cooper! (only after 4 1/2 months) thats how busy life has been! 

I baked treats for his mama and daddy for making such a good baby!

 

Zach and I went to a preseason game for the Ravens.

 

 

I discovered what is now my new favorite wine when we went to his brother's for a cookout.

 

We went to see Brad Paisley in concert.Where we also saw The Band Perry, Easton Corbin, Love and Theft and Jana Kramer!

 

 

 

 

1. The Band Perry has been the BEST opener that I have ever seen. They could have been the main act that is how good they were.

 

2. I got to meet Love and Theft. Talk about being a good day! Stephen is the way to my heart, besides Zach of course, oh my he is so hott there isn't even words, he has tattoos, and he sings. Amazing!

 

 

Hope everyone had a good Labor day weekend! We went to the beach recap to come but for now I have unpacking and cleaning to do.
