Apologizing for lack of posting!

So first and foremost sorry for my lack of posting. As you know last week I didn't feel good and then on Monday I actually went to the ER because I had such bad head pain so after 14 hours, a ct scan, and a spinal tap, I have viral meningitis. The worst part about this is I still have head pain and there is nothing but Tylenol that I can take. I haven't worked at all this week so I have just been resting. I am so glad that while I was catching up with everyone that everyone had a good Christmas! Mine was good. Zach and I opened our gifts then went to my moms to do gifts. I didn't take one picture how sad! After my moms I started to feel bad so I came home and slept while Zach went to his aunts. I really enjoyed everything that I got especially our new pots and pans that we were in need of! So I am hoping that for NYE I will start to feel better so I can get out of our apartment!  I hope you ladies are having a good week!

Catch up!

Day 11. Show your Christmas Decorations (indoor/outdoor)

This is a tray of goodies that is the center piece for the coffee table! when I light the candles I love how they glow through the snowflakes!

This is the window from the living room into the Kitchen the garland has lights on it too but I need a new extension cord which I have to get today.

This is the shelf above the couch that has the gingerbread stuff on it! I love gingerbread everything! The house on the left glows when you light a tea light inside and the one on the right you can put a tea light in as well at the top in the shade.

These are just little snowmen that hang on the lamps.

These are our stockings! I tried to stay with the red and green color scheme and I found those little presents for a dollar and the stockings for four dollars at Hobby Lobby! I love our stockings!

And thats our tree I love it this year the shape and all is so nice. The only down side its too tall for our angel.

These are just some of my favorite ornaments. The last one is the first ornament that I got Zach! I think it is so cute!

I love them all! There's a play list at the bottom with a few of my favorites!

Day 13. What is your favorite Christmas Cookie/Sweet Treat Recipe?
This is hard I love anything sweet, but simple is always good! I honestly would say my favorite is chocolate chips cookies the recipe on the back of the nestle chips bag! Fresh out of the oven they are heaven.

Day 15. Christmas/Holiday Crafts:

I didn't really do too much crafts in the first picture the countdown me and my sister came up with that idea and it was super easy. The other thing is for Zach's cousins there's two little girls I am making them rosette headbands! I will show pictures when I am done with them.

Day 16. What is your favorite outdoor Christmas activity?
*Going to get a Christmas tree

* Going to the see lights. I want to go down to 34th street and walk around with some really good coffee this year. I need Zach to pick a day this week!

Again look up in the post and there is all the decor besides my Santa and snowman salt and pepper shaker and Santa spoon rest! Oh and all the presents under the tree! I plan to start tackling the wrapping tonight!



Did I mention that it is so nice to be done with school and come home eat dinner and have the night to get stuff done! Well last night I baked these!

And also had Zach hang this!I love it our apartment is so homey feeling and I love the Christmas decor everywhere!

Horrible Horrible...

So I have been a horrible blogger and have not done the challenge but I was trying to wait till everything was decorated to post pictures! Well everything is decorated but I have not taken pictures. I will be be posting everything tonight I promise! We are suppose to get snow here today only up to 2 inches if that but I would be so nice to have it snow, go home eat ham, potatos and cabbage thats currently cooking in the crockpot right now, bake some cookies and wrap soome gifts, oh while watching the Grinch. I can not believe that Christmas is in nine days! I cannot wait although it will be over way too soon! 

Day Ten!

Day 10. What is your favorite Christmas Recipe?

This is a little bit hard because I normally don't cook or even bake a lot.But this year will be different I am planning on baking three different kinds of cookies tonight and a cake for my cousins tomorrow. Now regarding recipes from my mom I love love her green bean casserole. My moms and my sister are the only ones I like and I look forward to the holidays for this reason. My mom also makes Mexican wedding cakes but she calls them something Italian they are the best cookies! I will most likely not be posting till Monday. We are going to get a tree tonight so I want to wait to show decorations till the tree is up and then I can get the recipe for my favorite cookie from my mom too ha! You ladies have a good weekend!  

Day Eight, Nine, and Gender Reveal Party!

Day 8. What is your least favorite thing about Christmas?

*Theres not many of these!

* Needles from the tree! They seem to get everywhere

Day 9. Christmas party; are you having one or attending one?

Well this weekend will be our first Christmas celebration. We will be going to my cousins for dinner and presents where my family from out of town comes in. Then the next Christmas celebration will not be until Christmas Eve. Cannot wait!

So last Friday my sister had a gender reveal party! I will show you the night through pictures it was so much fun!

That was the food. She just did deli sandwiches, chips and dip, veggies and dip, crackers and cheese and cupcakes.

There is some of the decor! The banner says pink or blue and then on the right side is her eight week  and 15 week sonos and the ones on the right are her almost 20 week sonos.

As much as I thought it was a boy and wanted it to be I will love this little girl no less considering I already bought her something for Christmas the next day and she will not be here till April!

Day Seven!

Day 7. What is your favorite thing about Christmas?

Really! I could not just pick one favorite thing. Let me tell you everything that I LOVE about Christmas.

* Decorating the tree and around the house

*Shopping and Wrapping gifts

*Spending time with family

* The cooler weather

* The drinks

 Pretty much anything gets me excited when it comes to Christmas. I cannot wait, but I also don't want it to be over ha!

Day four and five!

Day 4. Write a Letter to Santa.

Dear Santa,

All I really want this year is to have a relaxing day with possibly some snow on the ground and just enjoying family and the boyfriend! I want my niece to be so overly excited at everything she received this year. some things I wouldn't mind getting would be a new ravens jersey, some new clothes, some things for the apartment, and maybe this new coach purse or this new open heart necklace that I have fell in love with!
Day 5. What is your favorite Christmas Movie?
Hmm I just have to pick one, this is kind of hard. My favorite would have to be the Grinch with Jim Carey. My next would be Elf or the Christmas Story.

Day Six will have to be done later tonight because I need to go home and take a picture to post of our Christmas cards! I am so pleased on how they turned out and the fact that they were free! 

Day Three!

Day 3. Gifts: What your giving:
Wow this could get lengthy!

-My favorite person to buy for is my niece! I spent way too much and shes not done yet! I bought her tons of cute clothes! Sweater dress, a cord skirt, skinny jeans, boots, the most adorable cupcake robe and slippers! Then I got her a princess pop up tent that comes with a sleeping bag and flashlight! My sister and I used to have tents that we put up in the living room and "camped" out! They were the best. So I got my two cousins who are always around with my niece a Cars and Toy Story tent.

-My sister I got her an icing tool with tips for decorating, pampered chef stuff, and some other little things she asked for.

-My mom and Step dad I got her a new straightener, a sweater, a movie. I got him a shirt and am getting them a combined gift card to go out.

-Zach I haven't even started yet, he wants stuff for his car and truck.

-His SIL I got her Victoria secret lotion, body spray, and body wash and the movie dear john.

I think that is all that I have finished so other then that I am not sure what else I will be getting people!

On a different note tonight my sister is having a gender reveal party! I am soo excited. I think that it is a boy so I can't wait to find out if I am right or not. She is at home decorating pink and blue right now! I will post pictures and left you know the gender tomorrow. Team Brendan I am!

Day one and two!

Day 1. What are some of your Christmas traditions?
It starts with usually the third weekend in December when my aunt and some extended family from out of town come to my cousins and we do dinner and presents and relax. Now that me and Zach live together and have kind of started own traditions and split time between both families, Christmas eve we go to his family in the afternoon then we head to my aunts in the evening for dinner and presents! Both of these were traditions before we were together so we had to do both! I wouldn't miss my aunts for anything. Now Christmas day we open presents at our place, get ready, head over to my moms for breakfast and gifts, then we usually stop by his aunts just to visit and see what the kids got, then come home and relax!

Hmm I can't really answer this one lol. I do look for bargains but those and favorite stories all depends on what I have to get for who. this year I am actually ahead of the game and don't have that much shopping left. Drained!

I am trying to stay awake so that I can study and I just don't think it is going to happen. I love sleep what can I say, I never understand how people can pull all nighters I've drank coffee and it's just not helping. I will be be filled with joy when this damn semester is over! I need to make it two more weeks. It's the holidays and I am trying to be excited, but I haven't even had time to decorate or enjoy. Hopefully after tomorrow a little stress will be lifted off my shoulder at least till class Thursday.

2 years!

So last night was Zach and mines two year anniversary. Now last year we didn't really do much of anything we got each other stuff, but I had school so we exchanged then I went to school. Well last night he completely surprised me! He said that we were going out to dinner! He decided we were going to Fogo de Chao. Can I just say this place is amazing. Now we have never been, but it is all you can meat, salad bar, and their sides. The meat is PERFECT. they have 15 different kinds from 10 or 11 different steaks, to chicken wrapped in bacon, chicken legs, sausage, lamb, pork. They wait on you hand and foot. They pull out your chairs, pour your drinks out, refresh your plates all the time, the cool thing is that you have a disc that is one side red one side green. When you are ready for meat you flip to green then different people come over offering you different types cooked how you like it. Then when you have enough to eat you flip the disc to read. Now we eat out meat well done and the meat was still so tender and amazing! Now I got home before Zach and he showed up with my gifts completely not expecting it this is what he got me!

I got him his carharrt coveralls for work which he loves so good thing lol.

I forgot to take pictures before we left so here's a picture when we got home and then a picture of the wonderful dessert we got for free! I am so thankful for him and everything he does for me!

Monday!



1. I listened to Christmas music all day yesterday while I was cleaning! I cannot wait to start decorating! I have already started shopping and actually have two people done. Wrapping is next. 

2. Thanksgiving is in three days! Exciting yes. I love to see the family and have a home cooked meal. Since I go to school at night that doesn't happen very often these days. Another reason the boyfriend and I will hopefully be taking a good picture for our Christmas cards!

3. I am trying to have a new look on getting up and coming to work. About two weeks ago I was in the best mood all week. I love it. I thought that needs to happen more often so I am going to try to be more positive and not let the little things bother me.

4. I got grades back last week for three assignments each in a different class. Excellent grades I might add. My motivation is now to keep those grades which does mean more studying, but I only have about three weeks left. I am determined.

5. This weekend was relaxing and not too busy at all. The first in awhile and I am not complaining. I felt very productive around the house.

Looking a lot like Christmas!

I am so very excited that the holidays are here. Thanksgiving is a little over week and Christmas will be shortly following. I can't wait to decorate I would do it tonight if the boyfriend would let me. Once thanksgiving weekend is here I will be sure to start. I have also been picking out Christmas Cards this year. This is our second year in our own home/apartment so I think it would only be appropriate to send out our own Christmas cards! My family never did send out pictures one just the simple store bought, but I love the picture ones especially for/from people you do not see very often.  Plus Shutterfly is having a wonderful deal for all you bloggers! Look here! I have picked some of my favorite out it all depends on what picture I choose to use! Hopefully we will look good on Thanksgiving and take some! Once I get these done I will really be in the spirit!





Aren't they cute I love the non traditional ones the more modern, but still festive. These are just a couple there are so many different ones! Day Late!

So yesterday was veteran's day and I just wanted to say thank you for all the men and women who serve us and let us live the life that we do! Most of you have probably seen this video before, but I love it and tear up everytime. You should watch!

Such a Good Mood!

So I know I am a horrible blogger. The lady that was suppose to send pictures never did so I never uploaded mine. But as soon as I receive those I'll post all of them. I haven't done anything this week, except homework blah. But I was looking on my facebook today and saw the quote I have on there that I forgot about and rereading it made me think of how much I love it!

I was born to be stubborn to be

 to take life for granted, to live a little,

 to love with everything I had.
to never give up, to believe in myself,

 but most of all to fight for myself.

I just think that it is so true. I am stubborn when it comes to things like what I want in life and not compromising. I am bitchy because I am a girl and sometimes these things just happen and our hormones are out of control.But I also believe in telling people how you feel. To push people and to push myself should always be in a good way! It's your life decide what you want out of and make it happen. Don't give up! You have one life, which leads me to not take life for granted. This is it. Your one shot. Good or bad it happens for a reason. It shapes who you are. To live a little I say live a lot! To love with everything you have! Absolutely. Why wouldn't you want to? Love is one of the greatest things there is. I say better to love and lost then never love at all. Does it hurt sometimes. Absolutely. Does it get better, absolutely, on your own time, but that day will come. Never give up is obvious. Don't do it. want you want is always possible, you have to make it happen if you believe in yourself and stick up for yourself. It's your life! Sometimes you don't need the people bringing you down. Surround yourself with positive people and ones that truly care!

So when I get home tonight I will post picture from Little Big Town! I had so much fun and it was just a relaxing night with the Boyfriend, love him! I am also suppose to be getting pictures from my cousins wedding I went to in the middle of October. My camera was not cooperating so someone else took pictures so I will also post them along with Halloween. Wow I have a lot of catching up to do. This weekend we don't really have anything planned besides me working tomorrow and then doing something for the Raven's game on Sunday. I need to clean and do homework, I do know that much.
So I know that we just entered November, But I cannot wait to start decorating for Christmas! I have already started some shopping for gifts. I don't want to do a lot though because then I feel like when the season actually comes I will have nothing to do! The stores have started putting out decorations and think that I might have to indulge and buy some this weekend! You ladies have a fabulous weekend!

Just another day in the world we live

So glad that today is Wednesday. It seems lately that the days just run together. Work, school, the gym. Thats what my days consist of and keeping up with school is getting very hard. Everything is due all at one time! But I am making it. highlight for tonight is that we are going to see Little Big Town! I am very excited. I will let everyone know how fun it was tomorrow and as soon as I get the Halloween pictures from my friend I will post them too. Happy hump day ladies!

We are going to Zach's cousins house for a party the saturday before.I am being a nurse. For sunday I have tons of homework to do so nothing exciting.

In Love!

So two post in one day I know I know...But I just got done a good workout so it will be short so I can go shower then get into bed. I just wanted to share my new songs that I am in love with. By no means is it a good song to workout to but on the way home I sure listened to it. So if you haven't heard it listen to it I almost can guarantee you will enjoy. P.S. we just have to make it through tomorrow then its the weekend.

So now that some weight has been lifted off my shoulders and my test last night is over with I can finally catch up. So for my thoughtless Thursday I show you this picture!

This is my new FAVORITE picture of me and the boyfriend. The picture on the side of my blog is my all time favorite picture of us but this is now in second. This was at my cousins wedding we went to Saturday which was so nice and the reception amazing! he actually smiled a little in this picture, I was actually in love with my dress even though it was simple, and I can tell that me loosing weight is showing. yay. Once i upload all the pictures from Saturday I will be sure to show them

Four hours!

I am counting down the minutes. I am so beyond ready for this weekend. It is perfect fall weather out today and I could think of at least ten things I would like to be doing instead of sitting in an office. Tomorrow after work we have a wedding to go to. I have yet to find anything that I want to wear which means tonight will be spent at the mall and coming home to study. I am so far behind in my micro class because he will finish a unit give us a week till the test, sounds amazing right. Not so much when he begins the new unit. So while we are studying for the dreadful test he is already starting new material. So my weekend is pretty much planned out for me besides the break for wedding and of course the Ravens game Sunday. I hope you ladies have a much more enjoyable one!

Pumpkin Farm!

So the first weekend in October we went to the Pumpkin Farm. My sister wanted to take my niece, so their family went, Zach and I, My mom and step dad, my BIL parents,cousin, and his sister and her kids, with our cousin Hope and her kids. It was a lot of fun, even for the adults. For the kiddies they have the animals to see, a maze, pig races, a big jumping pillow, similar to a moon bounce, pedal cars, two different types of slides, huge corn pits to play in, a thing that shoots apples, some other mazes and things to go through for the kids, a hayride that takes you to pick pumpkins, and for even though we did this the main event for the adults is the maze. The short version of the maze is 20-25 minutes and the long way is 45 minutes to an hour. I hope that we make this a tradition because it was so nice we spend about five hours there. Once again I will leave you with some pictures!

The jumping pillow was a ton of fun. But since I was on it with my niece my sister took the pictures and she didn't upload them so this is what I have!
